“Ganapath” Review: Tiger Shroff’s Sci-Fi Action Flick Fails to Deliver – A Messy, Low-Impact Thriller

Movie Review: Ganapath

Genre: Sci-Fi/Action | Director: Vikas Bahl
Cast: Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, Amitabh Bachchan

⭐ Verdict: A dull, VFX-heavy mess with weak storytelling and forgettable performances.

Plot (Spoiler-Free):

In a dystopian future, a lone warrior (Tiger Shroff) rises to fight against a tyrannical regime. The film tries to blend sci-fi, action, and drama but ends up as a convoluted, half-baked spectacle.

✅ What Worked (Barely):

  • Action Choreography: Tiger’s stunts are the only saving grace—fluid and high-energy.
  • Amitabh Bachchan’s Presence: Adds some gravitas, but his role is underutilized.

❌ What Didn’t Work:

  • Story & Screenplay: A simple plot made needlessly confusing with poor pacing and weak writing.
  • VFX & CGI: Shockingly bad for a big-budget film—looks unfinished and cartoonish.
  • Performances: Tiger Shroff is one-note, Kriti Sanon struggles with a poorly written role, and the supporting cast adds little value.
  • Wasted Potential: The futuristic dystopian theme had promise but was executed poorly.

Favorite Moment:

Tiger’s gravity-defying fight sequence—the only time the film feels somewhat engaging.

Rating: 1.5/5 (A misfire on almost all fronts.)

Final Words:

Ganapath is a tedious watch with subpar VFX, weak storytelling, and uninspired performances. Even hardcore Tiger Shroff fans might find it hard to sit through. Skip unless you’re desperate for mindless (but badly executed) action.
