Uri: The Surgical Strike is perhaps one of the current patriotic movies that have generated the most discussion. In everyday speech, the famous “How’s the Josh” phrase from Uri is frequently cited anytime the Indian Army is mentioned.
Vicky Kaushal’s character in Uri: The Surgical Strike was given the intriguing name that, according to director Aditya Dhar, was modeled after Hrithik Roshan’s character in the film Lakshya. “So not many people know this. vicky’s name in the film is Vihaan Singh Shergill, and the name was inspired by Hrithik Roshan’s name in Lakshya, which was Karan Sheirgill. I love Lakshya, so in my own way, I paid a small tribute to that film by giving Vicky’s character the same surname,” disclosed the director in a current Pinkvilla interview.
Aditya Dhar, who is also actor Yami Gautam’s husband, revealed that the actors of the movie underwent training for four months before beginning filming, of which they spent roughly two months training with the army.
