The Family Man 2 – Review

A Simple storyline of a terrorist attack got engaged intensively because of the powerful performances of both Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) and Raji (Samantha). Manoj Bajpai, again, outstandingly switches seamlessly between a family man and a patriot!. Manoj Bajpayee is probably the best actor of this generation. His chemistry with Sharon Hashmi (JK) is another highlight and the banter between them is as good as it was in the first season. In the second season, however, it is Samantha (Raji) who stands out. Seeing her for the first time with such an intensive role. All other characters including Suchi (Priyamani) and their childer played their part very well. Sharad Kelkar shines with a little screen presence.

The whole show right from the beginning to the end has been brilliantly shown by Raj and DK. Every episode, every scene is so intelligently made and presented. The single-take scenes are a treat to watch plus fight sequences have been captured brilliantly.

Although we can predict the storyline because it doesn’t have that many twists and turns but still the way of execution was brilliant indeed and the screenplay is so tight and good that it is hard to find any flaw. Its keep you engaging through all the episode and you never feel bored even of a second. The narration is well balanced between family sentiments, national security, politics, and problems we have witnessed in India.

It’s a well-directed, well written and brilliantly acted series has done justice to all its genre with a spectacular script. An honorable mention to cinematographer Cameron Bryson who captured single-take fight sequences brilliantly which are a treat to watch.
