Shehzada – Movie Review

by admin

Karthik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyya, which released last year, not only did well at the box office but also helped take a leap in Kartik Aaryan’s career. Karthik Aaryan is back on screen this year with the remake of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s blockbuster movie.

There is no change in the story of this movie apart from the original story, except for some scenes it seems to be copy pasted frame by frame.

Talking about acting, Karthik Aryan has nailed it. Along with emotional scenes, he also excels in comedy. Kriti Sanon has to do nothing special but she looks beautiful in the movie. Ronit Roy and Manisha Koirala have done a good job as side characters. And if we talk about Paresh Rawal, he has portrayed the character of Valmiki in a wonderful way. Although Kartik Aryan is the central character, it is not appropriate to move the movie forward by setting every frame for him, due to which the importance of other characters seems to be reduced.

There are three songs in the film and these three songs are especially liked by the youngster. The background score is well especially in the emotional scenes.

Every action scene of the film is a copy of the original movie, nothing innovative has been attempted. The theme of the film also seems scattered in an attempt to coordinate well. Shehzada’s direction is quite ordinary and the editing and screenplay of the film is also dull.

A very mediocre remake presented with an overall mediocre makeover may appeal to its target audience.
