Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu got into a heated confrontation with the paparazzi, which put her in a difficult situation. The incident happened recently while the star was at a screening for her new movie Dobaaraa at Mumbai’s Mithibai College. The actor and the photographers reportedly got into an argument when they informed the actor that she had arrived late to the function.
She asserted, “Mujhe jo bola gaya main kar rahi hoon, aap mere pe kyu chilla rahe ho? (I am doing whatever I have been asked to do, why are you yelling at me).” As photographers informed her that they were also anticipating her arrival, Taapsee responded to one particular photographer, “Please \talk to me in a respectful manner, I am just doing my work. I have arrived on time at every place I have been asked to. You will talk to me respectfully, I will also talk to you respectfully.”
While a few photographers attempted to diffuse the situation, Taapsee’s co-star Pavail Gulati also arrived and took a position behind her. She further said, “The camera is on me, so only my side can be seen. If it’s on you for once then you would have realised how are you talking to me.” Taapsee folded her hands after a little discussion and remarked, “Aap hi hamesha sahi hote ho, actor hi hamesha galat hota hai (You are always right, and actors are always at fault).”
In Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaaraa, Taapsee and Pavail—who were last onscreen together in the 2020 movie Thappad—reunite.
